KAPAA Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospitals 7th annual Breast Cancer Walk is set for 9 a.m. Friday at Ke Ala Hele Makalae, starting behind the Kapaa Neighborhood Center.
KAPAA — Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital’s 7th annual Breast Cancer Walk is set for 9 a.m. Friday at Ke Ala Hele Makalae, starting behind the Kapaa Neighborhood Center.
There will be music, refreshments provided by the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa and pink roses provided by Safeway.
Zumba warmup will be presented by instructor Anna Velasco from Ho‘ola Lahui Hawai’i/Ho‘ola Fitness Center.
Entertainment will be provided by Kimberly Hope, violinist; Kapaa High School Warrior Marching Band & Color Guard under the direction of Catherine Paleka-Zirzow, and hula presented by students from Ho‘ola Lahui’s Hula Lea class with instructor Marla Silva.
Volunteers are needed to push wheelchair bound residents.
Donations are welcome and should be made to American Cancer Society.
