LIHUE — Kauai Mayor Derek S.K. Kawakami was in Washington D.C. earlier this month, discussing Kauai’s priorities at the sixth annual Hawaii on the Hill, an event hosted by the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce and U.S. Senator Mazie Hirono.
