Health compromised by today’s environment
Our Earth’s environment is not what it was in the past, as we are now living in and on a planet whose water, air and dirt are compromised due to our current lifestyle. Our bodies are also compromised and, of course, our immune systems have become weaker simply because we mirror the Earth’s condition. We humans and all life forms derive our sustenance for living from this Earth.
We now live in an environment which in order to live the lives we have become accustomed to we must compromise further by eliminating symptoms which in healthier times were actually strengthening to our immune systems.
Measles was, in the past, seen to actually strengthen the immune system by discharging the excesses accumulated during the embryonic period, and if the child did not develop this sickness, her/his growth would be hindered. Mother’s first milk, colostrum, was known to provide natural resistance to a variety of diseases, while breastfeeding also was known to be therapeutic for the mother, as it helps the uterus contract to its normal size.
Fever was considered a burning-off of excess, like a forest fire. Now, measles is considered life-threatening and in need of suppressing via vaccination. (Time magazine’s March 2019 publication on health reads: “As measles outbreaks continue, pro-vaccine policies get a voice.”)
Vaccination does not eliminate the cause of the disease. It simply suppresses the symptom. When a symptom is suppressed disease will express itself as another symptom. Numerous new diseases are discovered each year, keeping the pharmaceutical arm of modern medicine very busy. The Earth we depend on for life does not reward or punish, as there is no right or wrong in nature. There are only consequences.
Allopathic medicine, known as the modern medical system, has proven that not being vaccinated is dangerous and possibly soon to be unlawful.
We have created an environment whose health is now compromised and in need of symptomatic allopathic medicine to survive, and the consequences are what we are living with. And, no, not all of us are in that boat.

Nothing like a little advice from someone who doesn’t know what he is talking about.
Measles “strengthens” the immune system? That is patently false. Children who survive a measles infection remain vulnerable to other deadly infections for two to three years AFTER the measles infection because of weakened immune systems. They are at a greater risk of contracting pneumonia, encephalitis and other infectious diseases. Getting vaccinated against the measles is one of the most important things you can do for the health of your child.
Wow David, did you skip biology class? Because with due respect the things you’re saying just wrong on so many levels. Statements like “measles was seen as strengthening the immune system by discarding the excesses accumulated during the embryonic period” literally make so sense. Excesses? But anti vax people like you are causing measles to recur despite having been almost completely eliminated in 2000. People like David are causing universities to send kids home because their parents has views as naive and harmful as his are. Sorry you forgot how T cells and B cells work, but letters like this can actually cause harm to our community and it’s tiresome having ignorant views posted in the paper.
It’s more than tiresome, Uncleaina, it is irresponsible of TGI not to vet letters prior to their publication, especially when it pertains to matters of public health. I have voiced this opinion on more than one occasion in previous comments on letters that contain lies or fabrications. Yes, letter writers are entitled to their own opinions, but they are not entitled to their own facts. By publishing this letter TGI is as guilty as the letter writer in disseminating false information. This letter should never have been published.
Which medical school did you graduate from? What are your factual references and studies for your assertions? So, following your thinking, if I read some internet gibberish, I would know more than professionals who have dedicated their lives to that pursuit? We have a big anti-science problem in the US today, fueled by the far right. Let me guess; you also believe the earth is flat, 911 was a hoax, and mothers and doctors conspire to kill babies after birth. We are headed back to the middle ages where scientists were burned at the stake for being heretics.
Wow! If you’ve always wanted to suffer from “depression” read this letter twice! It made me forget that, other than plastic mainly coming from China and India, pollution was much worse in the 60’s and 70’s than it is today, and tens of thousands of Americans were dying, or left unable to walk, breath, or function properly, every month in the early 1900’s up until the 50’s from all kinds of horrible diseases like Polio, Diphtheria, TB, Small Pox, Measles, Flu epidemics, and so many more horrible diseases until the vaccine wiped almost all of those diseases out. Nobel Prizes, accolades, and even “profound admiration” were showered on the Scientists who conquered these horrible diseases and saved millions of lives. Now, our “more intelligent” conspiracy theorists have determined that the world is going to end in 12 years and vaccine equals bad. Aww… just leave me alone! I’m going quit my job, go on welfare, then to the beach to get as high as possible, contemplate my navel, vote Democrat, and drown in self pity because the world is coming to an end. Really?

It would be interesting to get statistics on the amount of people who get sick and go to the hospital or doctor and die from letting someone with a mere medical education interfere with nature’s vastly complex healing process by inserting petrochemicals and other drugs into their bodies.
America the sissies…! Eat drink breathe and smoke environmental toxins, and since they are effective you get sick…routinely.
And you go to the medical drug dispensers and routinely get your this year’s latest drug concoction…and by the way that’s not out of FEAR is it, afraid your immune system can’t handle for you. Fear is of the unknown, meaning you have no clue how the immune system works, yet you’re ready To comment…and way more fast ready to take the experimental profitable drugs.
Say you’re not one of the 55% of Americans who take 4 prescription drugs a day, or 1 of the 80% who take at least one drug a day…are ya…?
You see you’ve been sucked into the pill for every ill scheme, where one pill makes you need pill #2, 3, and 4; all because of their silly side effects.
And why are we the weakest most sick nation in the world, and 37th in quality of health (Disease) Care in the world. It’s the chemicals in the food and drugs. Why do you think they call it the FDA…?
Why? Because them doctors need more business, they already get a whole whopper of people on the heroin opiate merry go round. And ya can’t blame the pharmacy industry though they are indicting them too.
And the numero uno Drug on the market is sugar and we bet you have sugar in 90% of the food you eat and drink …go ahead pilgrim just read your labels. And you wonder why you get sick and take those pesky symptom masking relief pills over and over and your immune system keeps failing you while you’re overwhelmed with more sugar, drugs, and more environmental toxins that your doctor prescribes you more chemicals for. Why is it some people rarely get sick, avoid chemicals and sugar and medical and other drugs, and when they do rarely get sick they just sit down, relax, and act patiently like the fishes in the seas and all other God’s creatures do the same and when they get ill they just let their immune system go through its healing process. And remember all processes take time,

And If you ain’t old enough to have lived in the 1950’s or earlier, you’d know that darn near every kid got the measles mumps and chicken pox, and no one got vaccinated, no one got drugs, no one went to the doctor or the hospital…and everyone got the lifetime immunity naturally and still no one ain’t got those sicknesses and now there in their 60’s, 70’s,80’s, and 90’s and on up and not a one got the childhood illnes again…thanks to lifetime natural immunity. Oh they missed a few days of school (reward)…!
You see you don’t need those drugs it just that the doctors and the pharmacy and the petrochemical companies (oil companies) they need to sell them and make $4 Trillion dollars a year off the sick people and their phony medical disease care.

Maybe best you know that the human immune system is a lot like and much similar to the animal kingdom’s immune system, and theirs is run by their reticular system, a part of the Nervous System located in the brainstem near the bottom of the skull and it’s the same as the other vertebrates, except they been using theirs thousands of millions of years longer then a we been using ours. That darn near perfects the system, but then they ain’t using the drugs to interfere with their immune system.,

Right. And before the introduction of the measles vaccine (1963), major epidemics occurred every couple of years and the disease caused 2.5 million deaths a year. That’s 2.5 MILLION, Charlie. And then some smart-ass researchers had to ruin it by coming up with a vaccine to prevent all those deaths. Shame on them.

It’s all about the money. They’d be bankrupt without that immunity. They have no accountability and that’s a dangerous thing.
