Lane closure scheduled on Kuhio Highway in Hanamaulu

HANAMAULU The northbound lane of Kuhio Highway between Laukona Street and Kapaia Road will be closed later this month. Where two northbound lanes exist, the outermost lane will be closed. Traffic will be modified from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday evening, April 28, and ending Friday morning, May 3, weather permitting.

HANAMAULU — The northbound lane of Kuhio Highway between Laukona Street and Kapaia Road will be closed later this month. Where two northbound lanes exist, the outermost lane will be closed. Traffic will be modified from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday evening, April 28, and ending Friday morning, May 3, weather permitting.

The closures are necessary to allow the county Department of Public Works Wastewater Management Division to perform maintenance work on the sewer system in the area.

Two-way traffic will be maintained where possible.
