Kesomi Fonua came back from the First Hawaiian Bank Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division II football championship game to help set up for the Festival of Lights that will have a soft opening from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Historic County Building in Lihue.

National Tropical Botanical Garden Na Lima Kokua volunteers Margaret McGinty and Susan Spero, right, man the tables at the Kauai Marriott Resort & Beach Club’s Children’s Miracle Network charity craft fair Sunday.
