Timbers Resort associates Siana Furtado, Siera Cano and Leona Hasegawa had the right idea to unwind after a long day’s work at the harbor, where they could check out not only the racing action, but the halalu that brought out the skiffs.

Happy birthday, too, to Cadee Parubrub, who celebrated her 13th birthday Saturday (Jodi and Chad Lewis’ daughter Lanakila turned nine months old Saturday, too). Cadee dropped off a Random Act of Kindness check for $1,100 to celebrate her birthday. She started this practice when she was 9 years and has done it for five years now. What happens on her 14th birthday?
OK, if we play everything right, we can still check out the craft fair (Merrie Monarch vendors?) hosted by kumu Leina‘ala Pavao Jardin and hula halau Ka Lei Mokihana O Leina‘ala at the convention hall before heading out to Princeville to check out University of Hawaii golf coach Ronn Miyashiro and the Hawaii golf team, including Kilauea native Bryden Salvador, at the 7th annual Princeville Makai Invitational tournament that runs today through Tuesday.
