KAPAA — Many hands will make for light work on Saturday as volunteers with Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Park gather to celebrate National Make A Difference Day with their annual cleanup.
KAPAA — Many hands will make for light work on Saturday as volunteers with Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Park gather to celebrate National Make A Difference Day with their annual cleanup.
From painting the playground to picking up trash, projects throughout the park begin at 7:30 a.m. After the work is done, volunteers will enjoy lunch and talk story.
Volunteers are urged to wear shoes, bring water bottles and gloves, and wear clothes appropriate for outside work.
The kid-friendly event is free and continues until about noon.
