Ellender Miller, 94, of Kapaa, passed away on Dec. 28, 2017, in Bend, Oregon. She was born on June 24, 1923 in New Madrid, Missouri.
Duane Rivera
Duane Rivera of Lihue passed away on Feb. 9, 2018, at the age of 46. He was born in Frankfurt, Germany, on Sept. 10, 1971, and was self-employed.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Pedro and Salud Rivera, maternal grandparents Karl and Anna Hasenoehrl, and uncle Thomas Hasenoehrl.
He is survived by parents Norberto and Brigitte Rivera, brother Art (Maricel) Rivera, son Sean Castilleja, one granddaughter, and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services were held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
