LIHUE — The County of Kauai is presenting “Keeping Your Community Safe,” a series of islandwide meetings this month that aim to inform, educate and provide safety resources to the public.
LIHUE — The County of Kauai is presenting “Keeping Your Community Safe,” a series of islandwide meetings this month that aim to inform, educate and provide safety resources to the public.
Meeting times will be from 6 to 8 p.m. and will be held at the following locations:
• Waimea Neighborhood Center, Tuesday.
• Koloa Neighborhood Center, Feb. 15.
• Kapaa Middle School, Feb. 21.
• Lihue Neighborhood Center, Feb. 26.
The Kauai Police Department will provide information on internet safety and the Neighborhood Watch Program.
The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney will share information on the Drug Nuisance Abatement Unit and how it works closely with KPD.
Life’s Choices Kauai will provide the public with an update on the Adolescent Treatment and Healing Center and share information on coalition building.
