LIHU’E – The annual County Christmas Songfest will be on Friday, Dec. 10, at 11
a.m. in the Mo’ikeha Building courtyard.
The musical group Makaleha,
students from Kapa’a High School will be the featured entertainment starting at
11 a.m. community singing, songs and skits performed by County departments will
also be part of the program. This year for the first time, a Christmas wreath
contest will be held with a silent auction on the wreaths. All proceeds from
the silent auction will be donated to the American Cancer Society who will be
present to accept the donation. Another donation of a ham will also be made to
a representative from the Woman’s Shelter.
