between 9 p.m. Thursday and 3 a.m. Friday when the Water Department shuts down

a water main to accommodate work on a state highway project.

The main will

be closed during the installation of drainage culverts at Kaumuali’i and Kuhio

highways at the Rice Street intersection.

The Water Department has asked

residents to minimize water use at that time.

After the drainage culverts

are installed, a new water line will be installed, Water Department officials

said.
