Kapa’a’s sole win came as Serina Roush downed Kathleen Sisan 6-2,
7-6. Waimea’s Lory Garawan topped Seychelle DeMille in three 7-6, (7-4),
6-2.
Girls Doubles
Rose Butac and Heather Medina topped Karen Kam-Jim
and Shantelle deMille 6-2, 6-1; Karen Sison and Tracy Hayashi defeated Ashley
Tunac and darci Yamaguchi 6-3, 6-1; Leah Gudoy and Jennifer Tambio bested
Meryssa Tunac and Krystal Kakimoto 6-1, 3-6, 6-4.
Boys Singles
Corey
Pablo topped Stephan Esaki 6-1, 6-0, and Ipo Kamakele was victimized by Ed
Rosseler 6-2, 4-6, 4-6.
Boys Doubles
Adam Henkel and Lindsey Ibara
bested Ryan Esaki and Corey Nagai 6-0, 3-6, 6-2; Jamieson Cosier and Jesse
Erese topped Cody Hashimoto and Seth Marushige 6-4, 4-6, 7-5; and Ricky Riopta
and Shaun Fabro were bested by Kapu Hendrickson and Darren Lacaden 6-7(4),
1-6.

Kapa’a took the two boys
matches as Tommy Yoshida and Glen Ramos beat Cyrus Tumbaga and Jerrick Fabro
8-5, and the team of Hendrickson and Lacaden topped Scott Bukoski and David
Laguatan 8-2.
The Warriors also controlled the women’s match as Shanti Wada
and Leah Ornellas topped Debra Bides and Connie Agmata 8-2.
On Saturday,
April 15, the Menehunes travel to the Kaua’i Lagoons courts where they will
face the Kaua’i High School Red Raiders.
The first matches get underway at
9 a.m.
