outgunned the hosting team 35-19 in the second half of their contest to win

Kapa’a enjoyed
a 19-15 first-half showing before Waimea’sStacy Battulayan exploded for 10 of
Waimea’s 18-point fourth period to pace the victory. Virginia Aguilar and
Ashlee Vea topped Waimea’s scoring with 11 points each with Battulayan
following with 10. Lorraine Lagoc and Charise Ponce each added 7 with Nohi
Rosa and Britten Doria each contributing a pair. Tania Tasic claimed game-high
scoring with 13 points for Kapa’a followed by Tescily Maguire’s 7 points.
Kahea Lopez had a trey in her 5-point contribution, Danielle Hill had 5, Alicia
Abalos added 3, Kuulei Campbell and Sharlene Carillo each tallied a pair, and
Deidra Spencer added a point.
