Hanamaikai picked up the point lead to come up with 12 of his game-total 18
points to lead the Red Dirt Boys to a 67-49 win over Kimana in Sunday’s outing
of the the Kaua`i Open Men’s Basketball League at the Kalaheo Neighborhood
Center.
Maynard Shea answered for Kimana with 11 of his 15 points in the
same period to join Sean Jardin for Kimana’s high-point honors. Jardin had 15
points.
Manuel Crain had 25 points, and Jeff Sullenbarger and Duane
Shimogawa each fired 18 points to lead Matais to an 86-72 win over Puhi
Paint.
