second half to combine with Micah Smith in moving the Red Dirt Boys to a 63-55
showing over Snap in the final regulation game of the Kaua`i Open Basketball
League played at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center while residents of Kalaheo
crowded the parking lot for potable water Thursday night.
Hanamaikai and
Smith each contributed 15 points in the win.
Nash Albery ended the night
with 19 points to lead the Snap scoring with Scott Miguel helping the cause on
a 13-point showing, 11 markers coming in the first half.
Desmond Moniz went
from the outside and the inside to end the night with 28 points to lead the Big
Boys to an 83-44 showing over Da Realest.
Chad Sakai was high-pointer for
Da Realest with 14 points on the night.
