Memorial Hospital after she was struck by a vehicle as she walked by LIhu’e

The woman suffered a scrape on her left
leg and had difficulty breathing after the vehicle struck her on Noi Street
shortly after 7 a.m. and stopped, according to acting fire Kaua’i Fire

available.
Responding firefighters from the Lihu’e Fire Station checked
out the woman’s condition before American Medical Response paramedics
transported her to the emergency room at the hospital, Tamura said.
“She
seemed okay. There were no obvious injuries,” he said.
