If you oppose teaching evolution in schools, stop reading. If you’re looking for a positive review of part of Hawaii’s public education system, read on.
The Thomas B. Fordham Foundation, in an assessment of all 50 states, gave Hawai’i an A for its handling of evolution as a classroom subject. “Human evolution is well-treated” in the Aloha State’s schools, according to the report, which was launched after the Kansas Board of Education banned the teaching of evolution in that state last year.
We’ll stay out of the evolution debate. It’s kind of like loaning money to relatives. You can’t win.
