10:41 p.m. A 36-year-old Anahola woman was arrested for allegedly intimidating a witness in an upcoming case.
Oct.3
12:29 p.m. Personnel at the Wal-Mart store in Lihu’e apprehended a female shoplifter. Another female shoplifter was apprehended later in the day.
7:26 p.m. An anonymous caller reports a horse had been struck by a ehicle in Anahola.
Oct. 4
8:09 a.m. Employees at Star Market in Lihu’e reported apprehending a male shoplifter.
3 p.m. The Princeville branch of First Hawaiian Bank called police headquarters to check on the validity of a man trying to cash a Crimestoppers check (for submitting an “anonymous” tip.
8:41 p.m. Personnel at Big Save of Koloa apprehended a male shoplifter.
Oct. 5
9:38 a.m. A Kilauea man involved in the closing of a popular beach access that meanders through his property to Secret Beach reported six trespassers.
12:54 p.m. An assault was reported at Waimea Canyon School.
6:08 p.m. A female customer’s purse was stolen out of her shopping cart at Wal-Mart.

3:48 p.m. A 33-year-old Waimea man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft.
4:47 p.m. A 30-year-old Koloa man was arrested on suspicion of firearms offenses.

12:28 a.m. An anonymous caller reported nude swimmers at the Kapa’a Shores swimming pool in Waipouli.
10:39 a.m. An anonymous caller complained of a black rottweiler loose at Haena State Park.
10:42 a.m. An anonymous caller requested a welfare check on a reportedly emaciated horse in the area of Kikiaola Boat Harbor.
12:55 p.m. A Kapa’a man said he was assaulted the day before at Kapahi Park.
5:05 p.m. Pacific Missile Range Facility security personnel apprehended two California men in their 20s for trespassing near Kinikini Pass in Kekaha.
7:18 p.m. An anonymous caller reported a bonfire in the vicinity of the small pavilion at Lydgate Park.

1:39 p.m. The theft of a bronze statue was reported at Kahn Gallery in Wailua.
8:05 p.m. A Hanamaulu family reported a 16-year-old boy as a runaway.
10:08 p.m. An anonymous caller requested help for an inebriated female.
