Kamato Iha of Koloa, Kauai, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Oct. 2, 2002 at the age of 99.
Born in Okinawa, on Jan. 10, 1903, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Kiyoshi (Toshie) Iha of Elk Grove Village, Illinois and David (Shirley) Iha of Lihue, Kauai; three daughters, Betty (Kenji) Uejo of Pearl City, Oahu, Sumiko Kondo of Kapaa, Kauai and May (Curt) Lupton of New Bern, North Carolina; son-in-law, Patrick Yamashita of Kailua, Oahu; daughter-in-law, Maxine Iha of Koloa, Kauai; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Koloa Missionary Church; service at 3 p.m. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.
