CB Richard Ellis, the world’s leading commercial real estate services firm, announced that James Hasenyager has joined the team at Kukui Grove Shopping Center as the new Senior Property Manager. Hasenyager grew up in Kailua, Oahu, and spent summers on Kaua‘i during high school, at which time he “fell in love with the Island.” He obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaii and worked as an engineer with Rockwell International Aerospace Co. in California. He’s worked with Frederick H. Kohloss & Associates, Inc. in Honolulu assisting in the design of a variety of mechanical systems for commercial buildings, was operations manager for the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, worked with Graham Murata Russell, a real estate development and property management firm and managed the development and construction of several retail and office properties on Oahu and Hawaii. Hasenyager gave the mainland another try and moved to Indianapolis where he worked for PK Partners, LLC. While visiting family and friends in Hawai‘i during the holidays, he applied with Kukui Grove Shopping Center. The center has recently completed a multi-million dollar redevelopment, including new restaurants, stores and an expanded Macy’s. James enjoys tennis and hiking and hopes to get reacquainted with his favorite surfing spots.
The Board of Directors of Kaua’i Government Employees’ Federal Credit Union announced the election of Kenneth Villabrille as President.
Prior to assuming the presidency, Villabrille held the positions of Secretary and Treasurer on the Board of Directors. He is an employee of the County of Kaua‘i.
As President, one of Mr. Villabrille’s priorities is to re-connect with the government employees KGEFCU serves.
The Embassy Vacation Resort – Poipu Point has named as their 2003 Manager of the Year Therilynn Lazaro and as their 2003 Supervisor of the Year Mark Bandsma.
Lazaro has been with the company since July of 2000 where she started as an Administrative Assistant in the Executive Office. In January of 2003 Lazaro was promoted to the position of Executive Assistant, supporting the General Manager and all Resort operations.
Bandsma has been employed at the Embassy Vacation Resort since March of 1995 in various maintenance capacities including leadman and procurement specialist; most currently, Bandma was promoted to the position of Maintenance Manager.
Kimberly Sloggett has joined Finance Factors as a Residential Loan Officer. Sloggett will be responsible for generating new residential loan applications, processing loan requests and cross-promoting other financial products and services.
Prior to joining Finance Factors, Sloggett served as a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Legacy where she assisted with all aspects of real estate sales. She holds a Certificate of Completion from Dearborn School of Real Estate and attended San Francisco Conuminity College.
