Waimea High School uniforms
The students of Waimea High School have undergone a great change over the past year due to the block-schedule.
We now face another adjustment — the uniform issues has been settled.
Starting next year all students will be required to wear “school wear.” I realize that there is nothing that we can change in what has been decided, but I wish to make aware the opportunity lost. The chance for students to voice their protest against the usage of the uniforms has passed.
Unlike the block-schedule that was voted upon by the students during school, the uniform issue was not handled in this way.
What is strange to me is the school was not able to enforce the dress code, yet they can enforce uniforms?
I find it unstomaching. Those that read this may say this is an attack on the uniform policy and a blame on the students and administration on how they handled it. I say — that’s just about right.

Do not depend on counting sheep because just when you are about to doze off, a black one may appear and you’ll have to start counting all over again. While laying on the bed, use a hand vibrator or massager from foot to shoulder to loosen up and relax your body—you’ll fall asleep easier and faster. Take a few deep breathing exercise—exhale slowly—then, turn on your side and tell yourself to sleep, sleep, sleep. It’s easier to train your mind than to train a dog, I would think. Make sleeping a pleasure—not only a must problem. Be positive! Happy dreams!
