Adela Fune is the 2004 Employee of the Year for the Kiahuna Golf Club. She was selected for this honor by her fellow employees.
Fune has worked at Kiahuna for 18 years, and has made many outstanding contributions throughout the years, her supervisors said.
She currently handles the bookkeeping responsibilities, account payables and receivables, and functions as the human recourse contact for the entire staff at Kiahuna Golf Club. “Adela exemplifies the dedication, care and can-do attitude that has been instrumental in helping with the renovation of the golf course since new owners purchased the course in April 2003,” said Kiahuna General Manager Brad Snyder.
Fune lives in Koloa with her husband Herb, and their children Eric 15, Jonathan, 13, and LeinaRose, 10. Sharilyn is the oldest daughter. She attends University of Hawai‘i at Manoa.
