Abel A. Silva of Lihu‘e, died Feb. 5, 2005, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 85.
Born Dec. 7, 1919, in Wailuku, Maui, he was a taxi driver.
He is survived by two sons: LeRoy M. (Teddi) Silva and Leslie M. Silva; one daughter: Julie (Steven) Victorino; one sister: Caroline (John) Ring; one brother: Thomas (Sophia) Silva; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, at Immaculate Conception Church, where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
