- The state of Hawai‘i hotel industry generated a record high $782.3 million in room revenues during the first quarter of 2005, surpassing the same period last year by 11.7 percent, according to the latest Hawaii Hotel Flash Report, released by Hospitality Advisors LLC.
Kaua‘i occupancy remained relatively flat at 79 percent, while Kaua‘i’s average daily room rate saw a modest 1.5 percent increase, to $180.36.
