Members of the Kapaa Assembly of God church and the Aloha Church in Lihu‘e are sponsoring Family Renewal Services conducted by visiting evangelist Reverend Tom Stamman. He will be in Kapa‘a tonight and tomorrow at 7 p.m. and in Lihu‘e Sunday and Monday at 7 p.m.
“It will be a conference-like service,” said Pastor Vill Galiza of the Aloha Church. “Then he will be praying for people and over them to give them prophetic words.”
Stamman said he first received his missionary calling while in Colombia at the age of 17. Since then, he has been traveling around the world with his message of renewal.
“I’m helping build families as they come up with the different ailments they have,” Stamman said. “I will pray over the people and also pray for them individually for whatever problems they may have.”
Stamman is also the co-author of “The Blue-Collar Prophet: How and Why God Wants to Speak Through You.”
“I heal people and help them fulfill their destiny in life,” Stamman said.
The services are free, but donations will be accepted. Donations will go to several feeding centers in South America.
“We have feeding centers in Honduras that provide jobs, clothing and food for the people. We’re also in the process of building more centers,” he said. “Miraculous things happen.”
