Everyone is invited to enjoy the competiveness of the Kauai All Girls Rodeo Association members as they compete in six events Sunday starting at 10 a.m.
Admission is free to the CJM Country Stables in Po’ipu, located about a mile past the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa.
Linda Antipala, KAGRA secretary, said in a press release that ample seating is available in the open-air bleachers, and Rosie’s Lunch Wagon will be on hand for the lunch break.
Additionally, a variety of KAGRA logowear, including T-shirts and collectible pins, will be available for sale.
Following the grand entry, an event filled with pomp and patriotism, the KAGRA members will compete in six events on horseback.
Events include barrel racing, breakaway roping, goat tying, dally team roping, pole bending, and steer undecorating.
The KAGRA rodeo is sponsored by the YMCA of Kaua’i.
