What do you like most about The Garden Island?
“I like the local news. I appreciate the local news. I like to know what’s going on around the island. It’s very small and intimate.”
What do you like most about living on Kaua‘i?
“The aloha spirit. I’ve lived on all the other islands, Moloka‘i, Maui, O‘ahu and this is the only island that feels like home to me.”
If you could change one thing about life on Kaua‘i, what would it be?
“I would definitely say the one thing I would change would be the people’s prejudice against the Mainlanders and have those same people start taking care of the ‘aina. I think people should start practicing what they preach and spread the care for the ‘aina.”
