Gavin Gillette posted 11.70 points to take the top slot in Round 4, Heat 4 at the Hot Tuna Central Coast Pro, a 4-star World Qualifying Series event in New South Wales.
Earlier, Wyatt Taubman topped Round 1, Heat 2 and finished in third in Round 2, Heat 2.
Shane Valiere finished fourth in Round 1, Heat 14.
Coming up, Evan Valiere is scheduled to compete in Round 5, Heat 1.
Jamie Skillin, a local boy who grew up surfing the beaches in the area, racked up a 15.16 during the morning’s round of 192 to take the lead in day three.
