Charles I. Hiramoto
Charles Isami Hiramoto, 80, of Oma‘o, died peacefully on March 9, 2007.
He had worked for Kauai Pineapple in Lawa‘i, Kentron at the NASA Tracking Site in Koke‘e, and for Global Associates on Kwajalein Atoll (Marshall Islands) before retiring from the State of Hawai‘i as the Bus Transportation Officer.
He is survived by his wife Mildred; daughters Janis Cox of Honolulu, Lynn Douthit (Patrick Murphy) of Austin, Texas, and Rae (Orlando Valvieja); sons Charles (Maureen) and Lane (Iris) of Mililani; brothers Roy (Shirley) and Walter (Alice); grandchildren Tiana (Will) Litvin, Shannon and Calen; mother-in-law Florence Kamei; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held today, Thursday, March 22.
Visitation is at 3:30 p.m. and services will begin at 4 p.m. at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel.
The family suggests casual attire and gratefully requests no flowers.
