Team Central, the Gee Unit and C-Town posted wins Saturday in the county’s 14 Under boys basketball program.
Team Central, paced by an 11-point showing from Keane Agoot, topped Wailua 30-12 in Game 1, Wailua getting 6 points from Kahea Prem, 5 points from Jordan Cummings and Jude Cruz with a point.
Agoot got help from Cody Iwasaki with 5 points, Kaawa Solomon and Canaan Higa who finished with 4 points each.
In Game 2, Kyle Lee posted a game-high 10 points to lead the Gee Unit to a 42-27 showing over the Lihu‘e Lakers who was led by Ace Difontorum’s 9 points, Patrick Tacata getting 6 points and Jordan Cadiz rounding out the effort with 4 points.
Following Lee, Keoni Kinzie and Donovan Harrison chipped in 8 points each for the Gee Unit with Dayton Bayot adding 7 points.
Bransen Agu and Austin Simao, finishing with 12 and 11 points, respectively, paced the C-Town 36-20 victory over Island Athletics in Game 3.
Todd Hirano and Brandon Taylor led the Island Athletics’ effort with 8 and 6 points, respectively. Aaron Inouye rounded out the leaders at 4 points.
For C-Town, Jordan Cadiz chipped in 4 points.
The county’s 14 and Under boys league play on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center and Kaua‘i High School gym.
