Daniel Momohara missed out. The Rotary Club’s 60th Annual Track Meet ran Thursday and Daniel was on a trip.
He also missed out on the PMRF Change of Command ceremony as well, but Stu Burley was there along with a whole bunch of familiar faces including Richard Kuga. That meant Arnold Hiura’s (he discovered the Lihu‘e Hongwanji bon dance flying saucers) request for a phone number and an e-mail.
Arnold is working with David and Lorraine Ishii (familiar Kaua‘i names?), and wants to know more about the west Kaua‘i young golfers.
One of the nice people to run into in Mana was Vida Mossman who now has the luxury of figuring out when she wants to work.
Congratulations to Capt. Mark Darrah on a great job with the PMRF operations for the short time he was here … and welcome, Capt. Aaron Cudnohufsky.
But all this wouldn’t happen without the help of Tom Clements (his son will be taking to the basketball court next weekend — just look for the tallest 8-year-old, Tom said), and it’s always a pleasure to work with Johnny Michaels.
And there was still enough time to check out the KIF tennis … Juan Lorenzo was doing some photos for analysis … he said to check out the Junior Tennis program every Sunday at the Kiahuna Tennis Courts.
OK, ‘nuff said … it’s time to do the sunup to late night routine.
