County spokesperson Mary Daubert confirmed a 4-year-old boy from Kekaha had died.
According to emergency frequency scanner traffic, a 4:14 p.m. call went out for a drowning involving a child at a home on Kikiaola Place in Kekaha.
Officials could not provide the name of the child pending proper notifications. “The boy was attending a party with his family at the home where the drowning occurred,” Daubert said.
