• Planning Department Director Ian Costa’s report on whether to revoke, amend or modify permits for the continued operation of a commercial boatyard in the county’s open district by the Hanalei River.

• Executive session on permits already granted for the Hanalei River boatyard owned by Mike Sheehan Sr.

• Permits to develop a time-share resort project within the existing Sheraton Kaua‘i Resort in Koloa.

• Request to allow the council to release documents to respond to the complaint against the council member.

Kaua‘i County Council Committee meetings

Historic County Building

• Discussion on the bicycle and pedestrian pathway and the Aliomanu seawall, the Kapa‘a Beach revetment and the Fuji Beach revetment in Waipouli.

• Presentation by Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative on topics that include the patronage capital refund, renewable energy projects and integrated resources.

• Discussion on an ordinance regulating transient vacation rentals.

• Discussion on the 2008 Kaua‘i County legislative package.

County Salary Commission meeting

9 a.m., Wednesday, Lihu‘e Civic Center

• Discussion on a request to increase the salaries of county attorneys and a requirement the county attorney’s performance be reviewed by the Kaua‘i County Council and evaluated by the mayor.

• Proposal to amend the date of salary adjustments from January 1 to December 1 for elected officials in a resolution passed this year.

County Board of Ethics

• Kaua‘i County Councilman Ron Kouchi declares conflict of interest in a claim filed against the county by Garden Isle Disposal.

• Procedure for releasing executive session minutes to the public and letter from the board explaining procedures. Executive sessions follow.
