More than $5,000 in prizes will be awarded through a random drawing Nov. 16 in the Koloa Early School annual fundraising event, “Planting the Seed for Kaua‘i’s Future.”
Tickets for the drawing are available for $5 each and can be obtained through any school parent, or by calling 742-1967.
“Planting the Seed for Kaua‘i’s Future” is the theme for this year’s fund-raiser that sets a goal of trying to raise $9,000.
According to a press release from the preschool, some of the prizes involved in the giveaway include resort stays, helicopter tours, spa treatments, boating adventures, ATV tours, horseback riding and more.
Prize winners need not be present to win.
The release states that a parent volunteer will be contacting winners following the Nov. 16 drawing.
Koloa Early School is situated in the heart of Old Koloa Town and has been teaching Kaua‘i’s youth for more than 20 years from its location under the spreading monkeypod tree.
The school is a non-profit organization which depends on grants and fundraising events to continue its mission of inspiring and educating Kaua‘i’s youth.
Funds generated from this fundraising effort will go towards funding the school’s various education programs, capital and operational expenses as well as tuition assistance.
