Dorothy Arlene Lewis
Dorothy Arlene Lewis of Waimea died at her home Jan. 26, 2008. She was 76 years old. Born in Pennsylvania on Jan. 26, 1931, she was a janitor for Rob’s Good Time Grill.
She is survived by daughter Sandy (Herman) Lewis-Wilson of Waimea, son Kalei (Janna) Lewis of Lihu‘e, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, at the Borthwick Kauai Memorial Chapel in Koloa. Services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihu‘e Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Corazon Negrillo
Corazon Negrillo of Puhi died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Jan. 4, 2008, at the age of 48. Born in the Philippines on Dec. 2, 1951, she worked in the administrative office at Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Ramon Negrillo of Puhi; son Ranzel Negrillo of Puhi; mother Carmelita Nullar of Puhi; brothers Benvienido Nullar of the Philippines, Gergorio Nullar of the Philippines, and Engelberto Nullar of Belgium; sister Amparo Petlan of the Philippines; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Monday, Jan 14, at Immaculate Conception Church where Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. by Father Bill. Cremation to follow. Casual attire is suggested.

Maureen Faigal
Maureen “Lani” Vea Pungan Faigal of Anahola died Jan. 6, 2008 at the age of 71. A retired laborer for McBryde Sugar Co. and security officer for Garden Island Security, Faigal was born in Lihu‘e.
Faigal is survived by son Andres “Andy” Vea Pungan; hanai daughters Flora (Francis) Urabe, Melissa (Daniel Jr.) Rivera and Lillian (Geoffrey) Perreira; brothers Antonio “Tony” Delos Santos and Jay Delos Santos; sisters, Marilyn (Kaluseti) Loumoli, Hazel Ozegovich and Annette Vea; and four grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Kapa‘a Ward, across Pono-Kai. Memorial services will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Shannon Joseph Watt
Shannon Joseph Watt of Moloa‘a died unexpectedly Dec. 29, 2007 at the age of 36. He was born in Alton, Ill., on June 16, 1971 and was employed as the Chief Engineer at Hanalei Bay Resort.
He is survived by his wife Wioletta Watt; parents Elbert and Janet Watt of Illinois; brother Jeremy (Cari) Watt; sister Michelle Watt; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008 at Anini Beach Pavilion. Family requests flowers and lei to be brought in memory of Shannon. Aloha attire requested. Potluck to follow.

Yoshihiro Nakamura of Wailua Houselots passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Jan. 7, 2008, at the age of 87. Born in Kapahi on April 30, 1920, he was the owner of Nakamura Repair Shop. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Hisayo Nakamura; two sons, Clyde (Graciela) Nakamura of San Fernando Valley, Calif., and Milton Nakamura of Kapa‘a; two daughters, Irene (Paul) Nitta of Honolulu and Marie (Gene) Hashimura of Kapa‘a; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Suyeyoshi (Sueno) Nakamura of Kapa‘a; sister Misao Nakamura of Kapa‘a; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Kapa‘a Hongwanji Mission.The service begins at 3 p.m. Casual attire is suggested.

Dean Nadatani
Dean Takemi Nadatani of Lawa‘i died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Dec. 30, 2007, at the age of 63.
Born in Waimea on April 11, 1944, he was previously employed by Von Hamm-Young, Avis Rent-A-Car, Garden Island Motors, Kauai Auto Center and the County of Kaua‘i.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joichi and Haruye Nadatani, and father- and mother-in-law Joseph and Eleanor DeCosta.
He is survived his wife, Jeanne Nadatani; son Dean Nadatani Jr. of Hawai‘i Kai, O‘ahu; daughters Terry (Lex Tam Ho) Crowell of Kane‘ohe, O‘ahu, Shelley (Joseph) Gandeza of Lawa‘i and Sandi Nadatani of Lawa‘i; grandchildren Ashley Keani Crowell Dylan Crowell, Marcus Brown and Luke Gandeza; one great-grandchild, Kasen Crowell-Pimienta; brothers Kenneth Sadao Nadatani of Waipahu and James (Fran) Nadatani of ‘Ele‘ele; sister Joy Kagawa of Puhi; brother-in-law Joseph (Landa) DeCosta; sisters-in-law Margie (Dana) Akita and Carol (Steven) Shinagawa; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo. Mass officiated by Father Nap will begin at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested and the family asks that flowers be omitted.
