The Wailua-Kapa‘a Neighborhood Association continues its monthly guest speaker series with “East Kaua‘i — Are We as Safe as We Think?” featuring Kaua‘i Police Department Chief Darryl Perry.
The W-KNA meeting begins at 6 p.m., Aug. 21 at the Kapa‘a Library Meeting Room.
This is a great opportunity to learn whether crime is on the increase, to understand law enforcement challenges and to discuss community concerns.
Learn how residents can participate and cooperate with the police department to reduce crime in our neighborhoods. Bring your questions and find out how we can keep our communities safe.
The business portion of the meeting will provide updates on local issues and allow time to hear new concerns.
This meeting replaces the regularly scheduled fourth Saturday meeting of the month. It is free and the public is invited. For information, contact Sid Jackson, association secretary at 821-2837.
