The University of Hawai‘i and Apple Inc. are sponsoring eWaste Disposal Days today for businesses and tomorrow for residents.
The recycling event will be held at Kaua‘i Community College from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days.
Examples of items that will be accepted include computer monitors, CPUs, CD-ROM/DVD drives, keyboards, laptop computers, speakers, televisions, VCRs, printers, scanners and FAX machines.

Pre-resgistration was required for businesses to participate in the program.
Pre-registration is not required for residents to take part in the recycling event tomorrow.
The goal of the eWaste recycling program is to help reduce pollution through earth-friendly disposal of unwanted, end-of-life electronics.
