The TriKauai Triathlon Series is being hosted by Pu‘uwai Outrigger Canoe Club as a fundraiser for their Children’s Programs. These are short distance sprint triathlons, with a 1/4-mile swim, 14-mile bike and 3.5-mile run. The events will be held on Sunday, Feb.
The TriKauai Triathlon Series is being hosted by Pu‘uwai Outrigger Canoe Club as a fundraiser for their Children’s Programs. These are short distance sprint triathlons, with a 1/4-mile swim, 14-mile bike and 3.5-mile run. The events will be held on Sunday, Feb. 8th, July 26th and Nov. 22.
Competitors may enter as single entries, or as a team where each person races a single leg of the event.
Pu‘uwai Outrigger Canoe Club invites guests to participate in the 2009 series that combines the beauty of the Garden Island with the excitement of athletic competition.
10 percent of the organization’s February profits will be donated to the National Guards Family Support Group, which provides meals for needy families and baskets to parents of newborns.
