LIHU‘E — The KSC-Blazing Angels swept its double-header during the weekend Kaua‘i Soccer Association spring league at the North Vidinha fields.
Playing in the Under 12 division, the Angels blanked the Westside Falcon GU12 team, 8-0, 7-0.
In the third double-header of the day, the Westside Falcon BU10 team split its outing, taking a 3-0 win over Westside Pride before deadlocking the KSC-Kilauea Kilas 0-0.
The three double-headers were part of 17 games played Saturday.
Due to the large number of teams, the older divisions played Sunday with the KSC-Na Anela opening with a 6-0 win over Go Green inside Vidinha Stadium while on the boys’ arena, Northshore edged out Westside United 4-2. Eastside Fusion was a 2-1 winner over Lokahi in the final at Vidinha Stadium.
Games continue this weekend at the North Vidinha field on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday games start from 8 a.m. and Sunday’s first game kicks off starting at noon.
