Aiko Grande (is she the last Kaumakani Supersonic?) is looking ahead to graduation and Kori Sakamoto had just come from her job at Lappert’s (in Koloa where the cookies are). It’s nice to see the older players come out to support the younger players. Kori and Aiko both said the teri beef and saimin at ‘Ohana Cafe are good. Brandon’s sister Nicole was doing scorekeeping duties (ever see a clock operator get excited? Nicole does!), and since the games are at night, Chef Guy Higa of the Kaua‘i Marriott was helping coach Team Central and Steve Yannarell (don’t forget the Visitor Industry Walk, May 16!), general manager for the Marriott’s Waiohai, came out to watch son Stevie.
