LIHU‘E — In observance of King Kamehameha Day, county offices will be closed on Thursday, along with all refuse transfer stations, Kekaha Landfill and the Kaua‘i Resource Center.
Puhi Metals Recycling Center will remain open during the holiday, as well as all HI-5 bottle redemption centers that are normally open on Thursdays with the exception of Kaua‘i Resource Center, a county news release states.
Residential refuse pick-up will also continue as scheduled.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule. For more information, visit www.kauai.gov or call 241-6410.
Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Friday.
