Hana Hou Makahiki
The Kaua‘i Handball Association announces the 2nd annual Hana Hou Makahiki, which will take place Oct. 23-24 at the Kaua‘i Athletic Club. All interested players are invited and the entry form is available at kauaihandballassociation.org, or by calling 634-9023.
Entrance fee includes a seven-day Kaua‘i Athletic Club pass, continental breakfast and lunch each day, a Banquet and Awards party on Oct. 25 at Lydgate Park Pavilion.
Players attending this event are from the mainland, outer islands and locally. The public is invited to attend the matches at the Kaua‘i Athletic Club.
Kiakahi girls volleyball tryouts
Kiakahi – a newly formed Volleyball club for girls – will be having tryouts for 16U and 18U age groups. Tryouts will be on Sept. 26 at the Waimea High School gym. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and a clinic follows from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
