This Eastside bakery makes some of the most delectable baked goods on the island. I dare anyone to walk out empty-handed after smelling the sweet scent of warm bread emitting from its doors.
Country Moon Rising is closing its doors at the end of the month, according to night manager Kari Schilling.
The Kaua‘i Made bakery is committed to using natural and organic ingredients, which means you can pronounce every word listed on the package. All items sold are handmade and hand formed. The bakery uses as many local ingredients as possible, including bananas and taro.
Country Moon Rising is located in downtown Kapa‘a, sandwiched between ABC Store and Men’s Hardwear in the Roxy Square center.

Your best bet is to come in the morning before 9 a.m. to guarantee you have the pick of the spread. Pastries sell out fast.
