LIHU‘E — Na Kupuna Council and the county’s Department of Parks and Recreation invite the public to the annual Senior Craft and Food Fair, Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall.
There is no admission charge and people can enjoy good food, some unique because it is prepared by members of the different senior centers on Kaua‘i, and a wide variety of hand-crafted items created by the kupuna from the different centers.
Baked goods, blankets, cards, handbags, ornaments, pillows and rugs are among the offerings.
While the shopping is going on, people can enjoy entertainment provided by the members of different senior centers.
On entry, shoppers will be presented one ticket for an opportunity to win door prizes.
