Wilfredo Caban
Wilfredo C. Caban of Koloa, Kaua‘i passed away on Jan. 8, 2012, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 51. He was born in the Philippines on Oct.12, 1960. He was a public area person for the Grand Hyatt Resort.
He is survived by his fiancé, Angie Fevella; five children, Liabelle (Erwin) Cadiz; Wilmar (Jovi) Caban; Jordan Demotto-Caban; Jeffrey Caban and Raven Joy Caban; four grandchildren; five siblings; Perlita (Eddie) Casallo; Laring (Jaime) Caban; Anita (Bong) Alonzo; Gerry (Merlene) Caban and Bebe Caban.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Jan. 27, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Burial will take place in the Philippines on a later date.

Rosita Padre
Rosita R. Padre of Kilauea, Kaua‘i, passed away on Jan. 16, 2012, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 77. She was born on July 27, 1934 in the Philippines. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Vicente Padre; four daughters, Imelda (Rey) Martinez; Leticia (Edison) Nacapuy; Marilyn (Rommel) Aguinaldo and Rene (Jonah) Fleming; two, sons, Dante (Aida) Padre and Roy (Espie) Padre; one sister, Encarnacion Cadavona and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Jan. 30, at St. Sylvester’s Church in Kilauea from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. A Memorial service will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Silvester’s Church, and burial to follow at St. Catherine’s Church Cemetery.

Artemio Ramiscal
Art A. Ramiscal of Las Vegas, Nev., passed away on Jan. 13, 2012, in Las Vegas at the age of 66. He was born on Dec. 16, 1945, in the Philippines. He worked for Kekaha Sugar Plantation.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Orlino Ramiscal.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Angelita Ramiscal; two daughters, Arlene Ramiscal; and Annette Vernieri. 2 grandsons; mother, Leona Ramiscal; one sister, Alejandrea Sado; three brothers, Manuel Ramiscal, Erning Ramiscal and Pete Ramiscal; numerous nieces and nephews
