Leonida Menor Bungcayao died on Feb. 10, 2012, at the age of 64. Born on April 10, 1947, in the Philippines, she was a retired field utility worker with Pioneer HI-BRED.
She was preceded in death by her father, Genaro Menor.
She is survived by husband, Ernesto Damaso Bungcayao; four sons, Rex Bungcayao of Kaua‘i, Allan Bungcayao, Aries Bungcayao and Ernest Bungcayao, all of Las Vegas; three daughters, Mary-Ann Bungcayao, Jovy Bungcayao and Sharon Bungcayao all of Las Vegas; mother, Lourdes Menor; three sisters, Carlina Fiesta of Kaua‘i, Lydia Badua of Kaua‘i and Delia Damaso of California; nine grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Feb. 25, 2012, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawa‘i. Final services will be held in Las Vegas at a later date.
