HANALEI — Authorities closed Kuhio Highway in the vicinity of the Hanalei Bridge at 10:30 p.m. Saturday due to flooding, a county news release states.
Authorities will reopen the roadway when it is deemed safe for passage.
Kaua‘i is under a flash flood warning effective until at least 11:45 p.m. The National Weather Service may extend the warning if heavy rains persist.
