Up to 15 selected companies will receive more than $18,000 each in seed funding, promotion, networking with advisors and potential funders, and community-based and national mentors during the entrepreneurial boot camp from Aug. 6 through Nov. 9.
Each of the selected companies will benefit from services of Innovate Arkansas, a state-supported program that encourages technology-based innovations and job creation in Arkansas. Two of the selected startups will be eligible for an additional $150,000 in funding.
The Ark Challenge is one of 20 national projects selected by the Department of Commerce Jobs and Acceleration Challenge to advance regional competitiveness. It is a member of The Global Accelerator Network.
