Tommy Noyes said the Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Park can use some help on Saturday to clean up the keiki pool at Morgan’s Ponds.
This is not as bad as when the big rains washed in big logs so it shouldn’t be as much hard work, but it will get the pool clear so the keiki can have fun.
And, of more things Saturday, Jean Souza and Karen Ikemoto said the free Hanapepe World Oceans Day Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will have some new and exciting things like water quality testing and live plankton viewing as well as Stu Burley and the Waimea High School Remotely Operated Vehicle.
Kudos to Lenny Rapozo, University of Hawai‘i soccer coaches Michele Nagamine, Mike Herman and Marc Fournier on a great soccer clinic. Machaela Rapozo and Skye Shimabukuro got to help coach, and was nice to see all the Kamehameha School (that’s how you know it’s a good clinic) and Kaua‘i kids taking part as well.
OK, it’s football clinic this weekend.
