PUHI — Mother Earth and her frequent rain showers could not put a stop to Kaua‘i Community College’s Earth Day celebration April 22.
The celebration featured a wide variety of informational booths, food and crafts, prize drawings, entertainment by HiFusion, cultural demonstrations, lectures, an electric vehicle demo and presentations on sustainability and health.
The 5th annual event was sponsored by Ho‘ouluwehi: The Sustainable Living Institute of Kaua‘i at KCC and the Associated Students of the University of Hawai‘i.
